Saturday, Part II - Tubing, Dinner and Cake

Today has been very windy on the lake which proved to be perfect sailing weather.
Meanwhile in the kitchen...
two more empty ice cream cartons
Lunch...

A game of "soccer" on the raft a lot of laughing and jumping in the lake

more soccer

and posing for the camera
More trips into the hot tub
When I took the last picture, I told the boys that it looked like all the others. Instantly, this is the response I received.
Time for the boat with "Captain Grandpa"
The boys were hoping to do some waterskiing this afternoon. Unfortunately, it was very windy and the water was rough. It was not optimal for skiing and especially difficult for learning. We decided we would tube instead. The boys were so much fun to watch. They each wanted to go in twice, challenging Grandpa to knock them off the tube. Due to the rough water, it didn't take much! Everyone was tossed.

We're still smiling!
and relaxing
still "thinking"
A look back at the lake house
Our final dinner was a homemade pasta dinner prepared by Grandma

I loved all of our meals together. Everyone chatted and Grandma and Grandpa loved their company. For dessert we had Birthday Cake for Sean
A Seneca Farms ice cream cake, of course
Haven't we had enough ice cream???
Our vacation is wrapping up. The boys spent more than an hour in the hot tub just chatting tonight. I truly believe they had a great week. I hate to see it end:(
